I am a recent graduate from Century High School. This fall 2015 I will be attending the University of California, Irvine to major in mathematics. Although my ideal field of study is mathematics, I have always been fascinated by science and plan on also majoring in public health sciences.
This is my first research experience and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to be able to understand and undergo lab work with graduate students. I am currently working with Dr. Nikolas Nikolaidis to determine the effects of single nucleotide polymorphism on the function of the heat shock protein, HSPA1A.
